1 box of chex mix
1 lb. of peanuts
1 lb. of pretzels
1 1b of oyster crackers
1 lb. of pecans
1 lb. of bagel chips
1 box of cheese crackers
and any other cereal, cracker or nut product that you desire
1 lb. unsalted butter
3 tablespoons of Tabasco sauce (I use chipotle, my mamaw uses the regular stuff)
4 tablespoons of Worchestershire sauce
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon onion powder
1 tablespoon grill seasoning
Preheat oven to 225 degrees F. Mix cereal, pretzels, crackers, and nuts and pour into cookie sheets. Melt butter and stir in the sauces and seasonings. Pour butter mixture over ingredients in cookie sheets. Bake in oven for 4 to 6 hours. Stir mixture every half hour to make sure the seasoning is well distributed. Timing is approximate, take it out of the oven and bag up the trash when you think it is ready.
My mamaw has been making this every Christmas for many years now. It is a favorite.
Now I really want some.
